OBITUARY. MRS. MARY RANKEN. The death occurred at Killara on Saturday of Mrs. Mary Gordon Ranken, widow of the late William Taylor Ranken, of Lockyersleigh, Carrick. The late Mrs. Ranken, who was in her 77th year, resided for about 40 years at Lockyersleigh and had spent much of her time there since taking up residence in Sydney. Following the death of her husband in 1933, Lockyersleigh was taken over by her son, Mr. Arthur W. Ranken, who died in October last. Mrs. Ranken leaves one daughter, Helen Margaret, who is the wife of Dr. Lawrence Tooth, of Lynwood Avenue, Killara. The remains were cremated at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium on Sunday.
