George was born on 13 Jan 1868 in Newington to George and Emma Dunn.[1][2]
George married in Walworth on 1 Jul 1888: George Dunn was 20 bachelor, leather finisher, 8 Darwin St, son of George Dunn, portmanteau maker; Jane Eliza Smith was 20, spinster, 12 Northampton Pl, daughter of James Benjamin Smith, print-colourer, George signed, Jane by x mark; witnessed by James Benjamin Smith & Emily Eliza Mecoy (x).[3]
In 1901, George was working as a carman.[4] By 1911, he was a dust collector for the borough council.[5]
In 1939, George was living with his son Reuben in Camberwell.[6]
