Mary was born in 1836. She was the daughter of Samuel Dunn and Catherine Moore.

On 6 June 1841 English born parents Samuel Dunn (30) Cordwainer, wife Catherine Dunn (25) Shoe Binder with children Thomas Dunn (7), Mary Dunn (5), Elizabeth Dunn (3) and Caroline Dunn (3 Months) lived in Fountain St, St Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands. [1]

On 30 March 1851 English born parents Samuel Dunn (40) Cordwainer employing 5 men and 5 app, wife Catherine Dunn (40) with children Thomas Dunn (16) Cordwainer App, Mariam Dunn (14), Caroline Dunn (10) and Alfred Dunn (8) lived in Havelet St, St Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands. [2]

Robert Arundell Chapple married Mary Ann Dunn in 1856 in Exeter, Devon, England. [3]

Widow Mary A Chapple (26) with children jane Chapple (5), Caroline Chapple (5), Robert Chapple (3), Annie Chapple (2) and Mary Chapple (infant) emigrated from England, departing London on board the vessel Red Rose and arrived in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 15 June 1864. [6]

Daughter Agnes Amy Dunn was born in 1868 in Ballarat, Victoria.[7]

In 1903 Mary Ann Chapple (Home Duties), Jane Chapple (Home Duties), William Mears (Warehouseman) and Agnes Mears (Home Duties) lived at 45 Oxford St, Collingwood, Victoria. [8]

She passed away in 1905, aged 67. [9]
