Ms. Beverly my name is Bobby Giadrosich new to the WikiTree. I ran across Lillian Doris Clemmons, I think you are the manager of her profile. I was just talking to her sister Laura Belle Clemmons and she had told me long ago that Doris's full name was Doris Marie Clemmons, I called her to confirm ! I pray you would change the name as they use to say "To Protect The In-A-Cent" Pardon the Pun ! Doris and Laura Belle's father John Mckinley Clemmons was my Grandfather Walter E. Clemmons brother my mom's dad ! Thank You !

Beverly,

Also to join the Google group, when logged in, click on the address of the Google Group, which should enable you to send an application to join the US Southern Colonies Google Group. It uses your email address.

If you become interested in https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Southern_Pioneers the google group address is posted on the page.

Other things to do for Southern Pioneers, you may contact the leaders, Paula and David Douglass, and ask what they want you to do.

thanks

Hi Linda,

It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Southern Colonies Project. As we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to their ancestors. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Thanks for posting the Ancestry Book on The Pike Pyke Family. I'm not a member of Ancestry so I couldn't look at it. Maybe some other Pike researchers are members and can add any info to our Pike and releated profiles. Thanks Beverly, Ed Pike

You're right, collaboration is fun. There's always something I don't know, but you might know just where to find it!

I have introduced a merge between :

Propose a Merge of DuBose-406 into Dubosc-2 (again)

This might be a good first step in regard to your observations. C'est Bon ..

Thanks for your note, Beverly. Let me know if I can answer any questions about navigating WikiTree.

If you're research goes better than you expect and you find that you will be adding pre-1700 profiles, a quick review of the project list linked in my earlier message is recommended. Even if you don't join project, the project pages often have helpful hints about sources to check and/or avoid, special naming patterns, etc.

I look forward to seeing you in the branches,

Debi

Hi again Beverly,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Your contributions suggest that the England Project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to review other possibilities. Read the goals and tasks of the projects and join those which are a good fit.

Have questions? Click my name, then ask in the comments on my profile.
