He was Baptised on 1 May 1808 at St Wenappa, Gwennap, Cornwall. [1] Baptism records have his parents as James and Rebeckah Dunston. His mother was the sister of his father's first wife.
On 9/2/1826 he married Selina Kean in Gwennap.
