Biography

James, son of Robert and Elizabeth (née Williams) Dunstone, was born on the 24th May 1842 in Adelaide, South Australia.

In 1871 he married Matilda Cole in Victoria, Australia. ^[1] James and Matilda had nine children: Robert Dunstone in 1872, Matilda in 1874, Elizabeth in 1877, James in 1879, Violet in 1880, James William in 1882, Emily in 1885, Elsie May in 1887 and John Cole Dunstone in 1889.

James Dunstone passed away at his residence, Taylor Place Geelong South on 21 October 1912. ^{[2] [3]} He was buried in the Geelong Eastern Cemetery, East Geelong, Victoria, Australia on 22 October 1912. ^{[2] [4]}
