32. Cynan "Dindaethwy" ap Rhodri, became King of Wales, b/abt. 754, died 817, was the Ruler of Triudaethwy 755-817. He married Matilda, Countess of Flint, whose father was the Earl of Flint.

Essyllt verch Cynan, Queen of Wales, b/abt. 770 in Caer Seiont, Carnarvonshire, Wales, married Merfyn "Frych" ap Gwriad, Prince of Dehubarth and King of Manaw, son of Gwiard ap Elidir and Nesta verch Cadell, Queen of Powys. Merfyn Frych was b/abt. 764, died 844 in the battle of Cyfeiliog, Ketell, Wales. [1]
