Biography

Lea Duplechin, daughter of Damonville Duplechin and Aurelia Manuel, was born 22 March 1870 in Eunice, Louisiana.[1]

She married Joseph Albert David in Eunice, Louisiana in 1886.[2]

By 1900 she had been married fourteen years and was the mother of seven children, six then living. They lived in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[6] In 1910 they were living in Calcasieu, Louisiana, and had two more children.[7] And in 1920 they were in Allen, Louisiana, with only their youngest son remaining at home.[8]
