Marie Rose Dupuy was born on 14 December 1747, and was baptized the same day at St. Charles des Mines, Grand Pré, Acadia. She was the daughter of Jean-Charles Dupuis and Marie Gaudreau. Her godparents were Blaise Leblanc and Marie Dupuy.[1][2]
Marie Rose Dupuis married Jean Lebel, widower of Marie Anne Chasses, on 17 Jun 1771 in Kamouraska.[3][4] Their son was:
