His marriage record identifies him as Thomas Durant Jr suggesting he was son of another Thomas.[1]
One Thomas, son of Capt. Thomas Durant and Elizabeth, was born in Middletown 30 Jan 1791.[2]
- Capt. Thomas Durant [Sr.] died in Middletown, 2 Aug 1831, age 84, calculating back to a birth year of 1747.[3]
Thomas Durant [Jr] died in Massachusetts 11 Sept 1866. His death record identifies his mother's name as Elizabeth Clark.[4]
