William Durant was born in 1792 in Boothbay, Maine. His parents were William Durant and Ruth (Burnham) Durant[1].
He married Hannah Reed on 22 October 1817 in Boothbay[2]. They had seven children[1]:
Hannah died in 1838, and William married Jane (Boyd) Kennedy, a widow, on 30 October 1839 in Boothbay[3]. They had no children.
William died on 16 February 1865 in Boothbay[4] and is buried in Wylie Cemetery[5].
