Robert K. Durbin Sr., 71, of Coffeen died Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at his home.
He was born Jan. 2, 1930, in Brownstown, the son of Robert Dale and Mary Turner Durbin Johann. He married Melba Florence Lewis in 1952 in Vandalia; she preceded him in death.
Mr. Durbin was a retired chief clerk for the railroad and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors: two sons, a daughter, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; mother, Mary Johann of Arizona; and a half brother.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Green Hill Cemetery in Van Burrenburg, the Rev. Loeffler officiating.
