He married Margaret Barker on September 24, 1840 in Estill County, Kentucky.[1][2]
Pius and Margaret were the parents of twelve children: William B., John, Jamima Ann, Nancy, Mary Frances, Margaret Ann, Pius, Ambrose, Sarah Elizabeth, Susan C., Thomas E., and Rosetta. John and Nancy died in early childhood. [1][2]
Pius Durbin died in 1871 [2] and is buried at Saint Munchin Cemetery in Cameron, Missouri. [3]
