Biography

Patricia Ann Durbin-Gonzales, surrounded by her loving family, Patti was greeted in Heaven by her parents Lewis and Marvie Durbin and sister, Marvie Lou Durbin-Voss on July 31, 2015. Patti was born in Denver, Colorado, April 29, 1936.

She is survived by her husband, Ted A. Gonzales; son, Michael Owen (Tana); daughter, Kristin Nicole; grandchildren, Amanda Christina (Johnny Churchill), Michael Allen, Jacob Allen, Autumn Minnette; great-granddaughter, Marlie Joy; sister, Darlene Bodnar; several nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Patti graduated in Denver from North High School where she participated in numerous clubs and committees, she was an honorary ROTC Cadet and was voted as NHS Vi-Queen in 1954. Patti earned her Bachelors' degree in Business from the University of Colorado; she was a dedicated Tri Delta sorority sister and active alumni.

As a dedicated mother she raised a beautiful family, and enjoyed her career as a financial bookkeeper. Patti was an amazing wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and was thrilled with her new great-granddaughter. Her family and friends were her life's treasures and her pride and joy! She will always be remembered for her bright blue eyes, outstanding cooking, and generous hospitality.

Having graduated to a new Plane, Patti will make a wonderful addition to the angels in Heaven!

Service will be held Friday, August 21st, 2015, 10am at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Alb., NM 87109. Reception will be held August 21st, 2015, 12pm at Daniels Funeral Home at 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE Alb. NM 87110.
