George Nelson was born about 1848. He was the son of George Durgan and Lydia Goodrich.

George is living with his Uncle George Goodrich in 1870 census.^[1] George Nelson married Catherine Isabella McKnight, in 1871.^[2]

He passed away in 1909. He is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe, Green County, Wisconsin, USA.^[3]
