Ann was born in 1743.


  • Born: 29 May 1743 in Haycock, Bucks, Pennsylvania, USA
  • Married: Ralph Morden in 1765 in Cochecton, Wayne, Pennsylvania, United States
  • Died: 1832 in London, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada
  • Ralph owned 100 acres in Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. He was condemned and executed by the Rebels in 1780. Ralph and Ann had 9 children:
    • Catherine,
    • Jane,
    • John,
    • Moses,
    • Ralph,
    • Eleanor,
    • Elizabeth,
    • James,
    • Nancy Ann.
  • The Mordens set out early in 1787 with four hundred other Pennsylvanians. Arriving at Fort Niagara, John and Ralph, Jr. sought out Robert Land, inspected the Burlington Bay and Cootes Paradise areas with him and decided to settle on the slopes of the Flamborough mountain.
  • Ann (Durham) Morden registered her Crown Patent on July 8, 1799. She owned lot 18, Concession 3 Barton Twp. (now the city of Hamilton).
