Robert Durie and Mary Park are my third Great Grandparents and 5 degrees from me. Merrilyn Howard Hunter
Thankyou for the information, i have just got back to using the computer as i had a fall Merrilyn
Robert Durie (b1804) was only child of Robert Durie (b1777?) and Elizabeth McDonald (b1782?). Elizabeth died in 1804, probably in childbirth, Robert went on to marry Mary Park on 30th March 1821 (both still teenagers). Their children were: John McDonald 1824, Agnes 1826, Robert 1828, Archibald 1833, James 1837, William 1842, David Park 1843 and George 1845 (my great grandfather). Most of the children migrated to Australia from 1850's to 1870's
