Biography

Irish born, native of Derry Co. convicted at Newcastle upon Tyne in 1827 for housebreaking. Life sentence. Transported to colonies arriving April 1828, either Newcastle or Sydney. Description of convict- Ruddy complexion, 5 ft 3 in., broadly built.

Granted Ticket-of-leave August 6 1838 and received a Conditional Pardon No. 31/309, 1845. Received a full pardon January 30 1847 [ Sydney Herald notice]
