Mary Ann was the daughter of Rulof Duryea and his second wife, Phebe.[1] She was born 3 March 1841 and died 31 December 1846.[1] She was buried in Locust Cemetery, Muttontown, Oyster Bay Town, Queens, New York.[1]

She was named after her father's first wife and died at five years of age. This Mary Ann had a sister, also named Mary, who lived less than a year.
