Many trees here on (including mine, until today) show Sarah Dustin/Duston married to both Samuel Hodge (b. 1686) and John Watts (b. 1685). I (and others) believe this to be incorrect, primarily because the birthdates of the Watts and Hodge children overlap! Further, the two Sarahs have different birth and death dates (I think no one really knows for certain when either Sarah died. For example, most show Sarah Duston Watts to have died in March of 1759, but his is not possible because she was alive later in 1759 when John Watt's will was written and in Jan 1760 when it was proved.) Would be interested in seeing a gravestone for either Sarah.

There appears to be a lot of conflicting information about Sarah Dustin or Duston of Massachusetts, born 1688. Differences include: spelling of last name, July vs. October birthdates, death dates, and places of death. John Watts (1685) was married to one of these Sarahs, as was Samuel Hodge (1686). Weren they both married to the same Sarah? Were there two different Sarahs? Was one Duston and one Dustin? All these questions need to be answered.

Dustin-110 and Duston-44 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same husband. Either spelling is acceptable.
