Biography
One source from Johnsville, NY mentions a Caroline Dutcher, born on December 5, 1835 in Brome, Schoharie County. That Caroline's parents were Sarah Ann Prindle and Matthew Palmer Dutcher. [1]
Another source mention Caroline Dutcher Allen, the wife of Daniel D. Allen and mother of George D. Allen. Her other children are Albert M. Mann and Mrs. Luella Mann. This source says that Caroline and her husband were natives of Niagara County, not Schoharie County.[2]

Caroline Dutcher Allen was erroneously linked to two husbands in some online family trees: William B. Allen and Daniel Biglowe Allen. William Allen is found in many different records with no mention of Caroline. There are two men named Daniel Biglowe Allen - one died in Nebraska. Caroline's Daniel Biglowe Allen died in New York State.
