Biography

Sarah was born on August 29, 1823 to Thomas Deeble Dutton and Sarah Lee Delafield [1]and baptised on 30 January, 1824 at Saint Mary, Newington, Surrey, England. [2].

The 1841 Census shows her as a 15 year old, living with her parents. Thomas and Sarah and two others (possibly servants) at Blackman Street Stone's End, St Mary Newington, Surrey, England[3].

Sarah married Alfred Mobbs Cook in December 1849 in Camden, England [4].

She arrived in South Australia with her husband Alfred Mobbs Cook and two children, on the ship, Caroline in 1855. The Caroline, 967 tons, Captain Ramsay Walker, from Southampton 11th January 1855, arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia 25th April 1855. [5].

She died on August 16, 1892 in Adelaide, South Australia. [6]
