Geoffrey de Chedle had children:

  1. Geoffrey, born 1267;[1]

A writ was issued to the escheator of co Chester on 26 May 22 Edward I [1293], and, on the Wednesday after St Barnabas, an Inquisition was held, at Chedle co Chester, which found that Geoffrey de Chedle held the manor of Chedle and a carucate of land within the forest of Macclesfeud from the king, and that Geoffrey his son, aged 26, was his next heir.[1]

The Hugh III branch of the family isn't the Chedle branch. The Chedle branch descends from his brother Geoffrey I.

Pretty sure this Geoffrey should be detached from parents and merged with Dutton-412, of the Chedle branch, whose daughter Margaret married Leicester. Those Margarets should then be merged, and then their husbands.
