Private Harvey Duvall served in the United States Civil War.

Harvey Duvall was born on April 21, 1831 in Livingston, Kentucky, United States.

He married Mary Giles on December 29, 1853. [1]

Together they had 13 known children:

Harvey served for about 6 months during the Civil War in the 131st Illinois Volunteer Infantry Regiment. When he mustered in November 1862, he left a pregnant wife and 5 young children at home. He was discharged just before the birth of his sixth child, a daughter, who was born in May 1863.

He married Mary Wiggs on January 21, 1899. [2]

At the age of 70, Harvey fathered a daughter with his 45-year-old, second wife. [3]

He died on October 03, 1909 in Massac, Illinois, United States [4] [3]

Military Service

Harvey enlisted in service for the Civil War on July 12, 1862. He mustered on November 13, 1862. He was discharged on April 14, 1863. [3] [10]
