I was born on March 18, 1966 in Radford Virginia to Linda Foutz. A doctor with the last name of Dyer delivered me. She put me up for adoption to Larry and Barbara Younkin. Barbara Younkin decided that she wanted to be a model, so she took me and moved to Phoenix, Arizona. In 1976, we met a man named Thomas Allison Pavelin at church. He rented our guest house from us and after I spent a lot of time with him, I asked him to be my father. He married my adopted mother and exchanged rings with me as he promised to be my daddy. My mother passed away in January of 1998 and Thomas Pavelin passed away in September of 1994. I have learned recently that my bio mom’s family was Warren Junior Foutz and Ruth Covey of Pulaski, Virginia. I have a half-sister named Jessica Lustig in New York. I was told that my bio father might be named Henry Wilson, but I’m not sure if that is correct because she didn’t know him very well. I’m hoping to find out about my family.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have. You never know when you will find a lost family member or ancestor. Or maybe find a hidden family secret about an ancestor. Genealogy to me is like being a detective looking for clues into the past.
