Robert's birth was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1908 in the Sunderland district.[1]
Robert Dyer, or Uncle Bob as we knew him, was born in England in 1908, and came to Australia with his parents. He married Vera Bowen, Aunty Vera. He built a home for his family in a very bushy area, now called Wood Rising just before Borragal, New South Wales. He worked in the Coal Mines, and Vera looked after the Poultry they raised in 4 large barns with big outside runs. He died in the Wallsend Hospital August 1980, and is burried in the "Avondale Adventist Cemetery" at Corranbong, New South Wales.

1913 : Robert traveled on the ship Themistocles from London to Sydney with mother Elizabeth (Lizzie) aged 29 and sister Mary aged 6.
His father Robert was a coal miner. Family living at 42 Baron St Castletown Hylton, Hylton, Durham, England on 1911 England and Wales census
Thanks for that as that would be correct they were married at Warners Bay , and as Toronto had the nearest court house that would be were it was registered.
