He was baptized, as an "adult," Jan. 14, 1727-28, and admitted on the same day to the church in Truro; his wife, Phebe Dyer, had been admitted on Oct. 29, previously.
Judah Dyer died June 19, 1742, aged forty-one years. On Oct. 20 of that year, "Phebee Dier widow of Judah Dier of Truro, blacksmith, Deceased," was appointed administratrix of the estate of her late husband. Nov. 10, 1742, Ebenezer Dyer was appointed guardian to the three minor children: "Phebe aged about three years, Judah aged about thirteen and a half years, and Elijah aged about sixteen years." In an account rendered Dec. 27, 1743, by "Phebe Dier now Atwood," the "Personal Estate Including the house Shop and Yard Standing on the common as p Inventory" was valued at56612
