Jabez M Dyer was born May 30, 1812^[1]in Portland, Cumberland, Maine, to Nathan Dyer and Eunice Marriner.^[2]

He married Ellenor "Ellen" Shea on June 15, 1834 in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.^[3] They had 1 child.

1. Edmund Dyer (1840-1880)

He was a Ship Carpenter in a Ship and Boat Building and Repairing company while living in his parent's home in 1850.^[4]

His wife Ellen died at the age of 38, on October 5, 1853 in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.^[5]

He married Hannah J. Marston, on June 15, 1854, in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.^[6] They had ond child.

Jabez (age 48) and Hanna (age 34) lived in Portland, Cumberland, Maine in 1860, with their son Frederic-5, where was a Ship Carpenter.^[8]

He died at the age of 55, on October 10, 1867 in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.^[9] He was buried in the Evergreen Cemetery.^[1]
