He was living in Stillwater Nevada 1882-1884 when he was listed in the "Pittisfield Advertizer" as of Stillwater NV and visiting his father, William Dyer, 22 years ago last April he left the state of Maine for Nevada. He worked out four years, then went to farming for himself in Stillwater where he now lives on a nice ranch, on which he raises hay and grain".
