Note: The Maine Genealogist, May 1997 vol 19 #2 pg 73, says--It is not known whether or not Lemuel and Welthea had children, but possibly the Welthy Dyer who witnessed one of the Rev. Ephraim Clark's deed on 3 Apr 1787 was a child of theirs.-

11 Jan 1785 Sarah called his widow
Lemuel Dyer was a mariner; his father mentioned him as one of the settlers in Township Number Four. In 1771, he and his wife "Wealthy" signed a deed with other heirs of Robert3 Jordan, deceased; they were then mentioned as living in "a place called Goldsbury or little river in the County of Lincoln." Gouldsborough was the larger settlement in "No. 4," where there were mills, etc.
