In 1860, Adoniran (age 39) and Lydia (age 48) were living in Livermore, Androscoggin, Maine, where he was a Black Smith, and she was taking care of the home and raising the children, Susan-17, Charles-14, John-12, Rufus-9, Stephen-7, Mary-5, and Burt S-3.[3]
Adnoriam was a Private in the Union Army, 4th Regiment, Maine Infantry, Company G, in the Civil War, July 24, 1863-February 8, 1864.[5][6]
He died at age 45, ca 1864 in Brandy Station, Culpeper, Virginia.
Lydia drew a Pension from his service in the Civil War in 1864.[7]
