Family Reunion
Friday last, the residence of Hon. A. S. Denison, of this city was made the happy re-union quarters of the Chubb family, so extensively and favorably known throughout the south fall of the county. The majority of the family have resided in the county nearly a quarter of a century. For thirty-four long years the family has been separated, in such manner as not to be able to collect together until last Friday, when the fortunes of life so smiled upon them as to permit this gathering around one fireside, and one table loaded down with the choicest viands and a dear old mother's presence at the head. Following is a list of family members who were present.
During the day, not only were the viands of the larder indulged in, but a generous flow of love and family affection was the prevailing feature of the occasion. Long may this good family live, and be permitted to enjoy many more such happy re-unions.[1]
