Edward Earle Dyment, called Ned or Ed, was born in Northam, Prince Edward Island on 3 October 1897, and was baptized in the Richmond Bay Pastoral Charge West Presbyterian Church.
He married Bertha Jane Birch, in Port Hill, Prince Edward Island. He and Bertha moved with their family from Northam to Margate, Prince Edward Island around 1934; he sold his farm in Margate around 1970, and retired to Kensington, Prince Edward Island.
Ed died in the Prince Edward Island Hospital, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on april 12 1972, age 75.
