Biography

Humphrey was baptized in Pancrasweek, Devon, England on 19 Aug 1748 as Humphrey Dayman, son of Humphrey and Mary[1] Humphrey Dayman from Pancras Week married Sarah Escott on 9 May 1765 in Launcells, Cornwall. [2]

There are baptismal records for 9 children: John, William, Humphray, Elizabeth, Joan, Sarah, Peter, Eleanore, and another son William.

A will for Humphrey Dayman of Pancrasweek was recorded in 1794, and there is a burial record for a Humphrey Deyman dated March 28 1794.[3] A Sarah Dayman was buried in Bradworthy in 1796.
