I did received your email - your wording was insulting! I suggest you look at a MAP, and learn what you are commenting about. Such words at "Islander"? UNLESS you did intended to insult our two countries!
AS for, "Could be, but a number of Islanders started as Louis and changed to Lewis." It is a FACT that French names WERE anglicized in New Zealand! That's what the British Empire did back them. This man lived in New Zealand and so his name was written as LEWIS. What does this word Islander refer to? I find your comments, arrogant and unnecessary.
If you are referring to Canada as an Island, then you need to take a good look at where you're living - before making assumptions about other nationalities. Praise the lord that I live where I do! Our people constantly work towards having equal rights peacefully - we are grateful for what we have. I would NEVER talk about my country people, as you just spoke about mine! Please show some respect towards Canada and their people as well. K.

Do you have any knowledge of the parents of Samuel Gould. My cousins and I have had no luck in finding any information of Samuel's parents.

This isn't very commonly used. If you want to get G2G notifications about Canada and Prince Edward Island, so you can see what other people are working on, or see when people are asking for help, I suggest two separate tags: "Prince Edward Island" and "Canada". If you work in other provinces, you can add "Nova Scotia" and "New Brunswick" too.
Cheers;

Thanks for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles.
It looks like Canadian History Project would be a good fit with the tag & comment you entered. If you'll add a tag for "canadian_history," you will get updates about activity for that project.
