In his household are his wife Fannie age 34 born in Texas (father born in KY, mother born in AL), son Edward age 10 born in TX, son Maurice age 7 born in TX, and son John age 5 born in TX. Jesse and Fannie have been married for 12 years and she has had 3 children all of whom are still living.[3]
The 1920 U.S. Federal Census records Jesse A. Dysart, age 50 born in Texas (father born in MO, mother born in OH), as a farmer living in Clarksville, Red River Co., Texas. In his household are his wife Fannie age 44 born in Texas (father born in KY, mother born in AL), son Edward J. age 20 born in TX, son Maurice age 17 born in TX, and son John H. age 14 born in TX, and son Harrold F. age 9 born in TX.[4]
The 1930 U.S. Federal Census records John Dysart, age 24 born in TX, as a single man living in Houston, Harris Co., Texas. He is working as an accountant in an oil company.[5]
John H. Dysart, age 27 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Nettie Olla Boynton, age 29 of Bellville, Austin Co., Texas, obtained a license to marry on January 31, 1933 in Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma. They were married on February 4, 1933 by C.C. Grimes, Minister of the Gospel and Pastor of the Boston Avenue, M.E. Church, South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Harriet Cooke of Humble, Texas and G.R. Boynton of Houston, Texas were witnesses.[6]
The 1934 and 1935 Tulsa, Oklahoma City Directory records John H. Dysart and his wife Nettie O. living in Tulsa, Oklahoma, He is recorded as the chief clerk with the Texaco Salt Products Co.[7][8]
The 1940 U.S. Federal Census records John Henry Dysart, age 34 born in TX, living in Port Arthur, Jefferson Co., Texas employed as a clerk in a petroleum refining company. In his household are his wife Nellie Olla age 35 born in TX, daughter Mary Ruth age 5 born in OK, and son John Kenneth age 2 born in TX. They are recorded as living in Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma in 1935.[9]
John Henry Dysart, age 35 born May 23, 1905 in Clarksville, Texas, signed his U.S. World War II Draft Card on October 16, 1940 in Port Arthur, Jefferson Co., Texas. He records that he is employed and living in Port Arthur, Jefferson Co., Texas and that Mrs. Nettie Olla Dysart is his wife.[10]
John Henry Dysart died February 11, 1986 in Houston, Harris Co., Texas and was buried in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.[11][12][13]
