Milton Dysart brought the family from Marshall County Tennessee to Troy, Davis County, arriving on the 11th of April, 1851. [2]

In 1860, Milton and Harriet Dysert [Dysart] lived in Union Township, Davis, Iowa with their six children. Milton, Harriet, and four of the children had been born in Tennessee.
