"The Dysarts apparently originated in Scotland. There is an area in Scotland named Dysart. "
David Lawrence Dysart did some research and discovered that the Dysarts originated in Scotland. According to information he was able to discover, the Dysarts are members of the clan MacDuff.
The Dysarts referenced here, however, are well documented to have migrated, like many other Scots, to Northern Ireland. Several of their descendants then migrated to have a new start in the British American Colonies, including son Samuel and his siblings, James, John and others.
The spouse is probably Marie Martin Stewart. Maria Martin is listed elsewhere as Joseph's mother, married to Joseph, Sr.
