Are you having trouble confirming your WikiTree account?

If you haven't been able to register, see Registration Problems.

If you have registered but have not received the email message to confirm your email address, first click here to request a new one.

Next check your spam filter in case it was caught there. If you have an approved-contacts list or white list, add noreply@wikitree.com and info@wikitree.com.

Confirmation Message Delays

If you still don't receive it, it's possible that the message is being delayed at your mail server. Email is usually delivered almost instantaneously but that's not always the case. Sometimes non-personal email is held for an hour or two.

If you don't receive the message within two hours, you might wish to contact your email provider.

Yahoo Mail

Yahoo isn't good at telling the difference between spam and legitimate email.

If a message appears to be something impersonal or automated, such as WikiTree's confirmation messages, Yahoo often delays the delivery.

Usually, they will deliver it after a few hours.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but there seems to be nothing we can do about it from this end. Although we have tried to convince Yahoo that we don't send spam, they won't take our word for it. It might help if you contacted Yahoo's customer service and told them you would like to receive email from WikiTree.com.

Contacting Us

Feel free to email us at info@wikitree.com. However, there may be nothing we can do on this end.

The ability to receive email is very important for WikiTree collaboration. Active members must have a confirmed email address.
