He passed away in 1900, a miner aged 51 [6] and was buried at the Ballarat Cemetery, Wesleyan D, Section 9, Grave 21. [7]
The remains of the late Mr, Samuel Eade, of Bond street, were interred in the New Cemetery on Saturday afternoon, and the funeral was well attended. The following were pall-bearers;—Messrs W. Hill, A. Brook, E. Blomeley, J. Turner, R. Cock's, and R. Grubb; and the coffin-bears were Messrs E. Hughes, R. Morley, W. Mainard, and J. Graham. The Rev. H. Williams conducted the service at the house and grave, and the funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs Jordan and Tippett.
Probate granted on 12 February 1901 to Ellen Eade of Bond St, Ballarat, Victoria, £489. Mary Eade, wife of Francis Eade of Daylesford was a witness to his Will - wife Ellen's parents.[9]
