Hello to all reading this. So, my uncle Jay is the one who so graciously helped me with my grandfather's male line. And interestingly enough, my grandfather, at 67 markers (FTDNA), shows a great majority of his matches with the surname Courtnay (I hope I spelled that correctly). I don't know how the Eades line remains totally intact for my grandfather's line when his best matches aren't Eades at all. Does anyone have any thoughts about how these work? My own father's line has different surnames as well but grandpa's has a consistently large numbers of these Courtnay matches.
