23 December 1712, William Earle of [Ports]mouth, innholder, sells to Mary Hix, widow of Joseph Hix of Dartmouth, twenty acres of land in Dartmouth where said Mary shall see cause to take it in the undivided land, to be in the eight hundred acre division.[1]
