Esther was born on 25 Mar 1877 at Carrickmore, Omagh, Co. Tyrone, the daughter of Bernard Earley, a labourer, and his wife Catherine Rodgers.[1][2]
On 13 Sep 1895 she was married to James Frazer, a cooper aged 24, at Killyclogher RC Church (Parish of Cappagh), Omagh, Co. Tyrone. Her father Bernard's occupation was recorded as cotter.[3]
Soon after marriage, on 30 September 1895, Essie came to Philadelphia aboard the ship "Pennland" from Liverpool, accompanied by older sister, Rose. Destination was Mrs. Boyd home 2023 N. 12th Street.[4] This visit appears to be temporary as her children were born in Ireland and Scotland.
Essie later returned to Philadelphia with some of her children in February 1926.[5]
She died 13 December 1957 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[6][7]
