Earnest-746 and Earnest-114 are not ready to be merged because: The person creating this entry should have abided by the WikiTree rules that say if there is already someone with the same information, one should stop creating a new sheet and just set the old one as the person. That's what I do when that happens to me.
Earnest-114 and Earnest-228 appear to represent the same person because: Same death place; dates compatible. Both married to Catherine Shynn, per bio on Earnest-228. Different birth place isn't reason to defer merge; discrepancy can be noted in the bio of the merged profile.
