Biography

Fred Dixon Eason was born July 14, 1886 in Arkansas to father Sidney S Eason and mother Louella Hensley.[1]

Fred D Eason was enumerated as son of the head of household in Sulphur Township (south part), Miller County, Arkansas for the June 5, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a farm laborer, born June 1889 in Arkansas and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Sidney S Eason, wife Clemie Eason, daughter Ida O Eason, son Henry F Eason, son Thomas M Eason, son Rosco W Eason, son Virgil M Eason and daughter Nellie A Eason.[2]

Fred Eason was enumerated as son-in-law of the head of household at Police Jury Ward 1, Caddo Parish, Louisiana for the April 26, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1888 in Arkansas and had been married two years. He was a farm laborer as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Emily Atkins, son Arch N Atkins, daughter Vida Eason, grandson Thurmond Eason, boarder Berta Albey and boarder Winnie Albey.[3]

Fred D Eason was enumerated as head of the household in 216 West 74th Street, Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana for the April 10, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1886 in Arkansas and married. He was first married at the age of twenty-one. He was a renter and a laborer (pipeline work) as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Minnie V Eason, son Thurmon Eason, son Troy Eason, daughter-in-law Opal Eason and granddaughter Louise Eason.[4]

Fred Dixon Eason died December 10, 1935 in Legion, Kerr County, Texas. He was married.[1]

Fred Dixon Eason was listed as the father of Thurman D Eason who died April 30, 1974 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. The mother was listed as Minnie Vida Atkins.[5]

Fred Dixon Eason is buried at Glen Rest Cemetery in Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas, USA, GPS (lat/lon): 30.02969, -99.13317.[6]
