Muriel was born in 1928.
Muriel Eason married Trevor Houghton. They lived in Proctor Road, Orini, where they were farmers.
Trevor died in 1999 leaving her a widow.
She passed away in 2016 when she was 88 years old. Muriel was buried on 11 August 2016 beside her husband at Orini Cemetery.
