Biography
Almira was born on June 29, 1831 in Smith, Covington or Neshoba, MS to James Ganaway Easterling and Rhoda Robertson. She married Jospeh Iranius Mayfield in 1846 in MS. She had 9 children. She died on December 17, 1913 in Raleigh, MS at the age of 82. She was buried in the Bezer Cemetery in Raleigh, MS.
