Biography

Unlike most other Eastmans found in the United States, William Henry was not a descendant of Roger Eastman, the immigrant.

When he registered at the University of Michigan he declared that he had been born 31 July 1856 at Culstock, Cornwall, England. He was graduated in 1884 and he died at Grand Rapids, Michigan 19 Jun 1930.
