Notables Project
Linda (Eastman) McCartney is Notable.

Lady McCartney was an American born musician with the band Wings, a noted professional photographer, especially of the 1960s and 1970s, a cookbook author, a vegan lifestyle icon and a frozen meals mogel, a horsewoman, and an animal rights activist. An accomplished woman, Lady McCartney was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995.[1] She became an advocate for breast cancer treatments and holistic care which she supported in until her death.

Ironically, she was best known for her second marriage. Married first Joseph Melville See Jr (1938-2000), and, secondly, Sir Paul McCartney, then of the Beatles. She was also the proud mother of four children, 3 daughters and one son.

Hello Profile Managers!

We are featuring this profile in the Connection Finder this week. Between now and Wednesday is a good time to take a look at the sources and biography to see if there are updates and improvements that need made, especially those that will bring it up to WikiTree Style Guide standards. We know it's short notice, so don't fret too much. Just do what you can.

Thanks!

I have done extensive research on Paul McCartney's family, as well as other Beatles. Many facts even used by Beatles biographer Mark Lewishon.

Here is my ancestry tree for him: if it is private, email me and I will make sure it is open to wikitree people to gather information.

One bit of information: his name may have been McCARTHY (or was a spelling error) as his James McCartney who married Elizabeth Williams had a father James McCartney an upholsterer. I found that a James McCARTHY Irish born upholsterer, married Rosanna Hughes on 14 Jul 1844 in Liverpool. His son was baptised as Name Jacobus McCartney Age 0 Birth Date 8 Feb 1845 Baptism Date 16 Feb 1845 Baptism Place St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, England Father Jacobus Mccartney Mother Rosa Hughs

And the name became consistently McCARTNEY
