Dearing Pelling is listed as being in Bexhill in the 1832 Poll. Looks like he has hung up his boots as such by 1851 and his son Edmund has taken over by 1851, listed in the Post Office Directory as bootmaker & Coal Merchant. Edmund is still listed in 1859 with a residence at Holliers Hill in Bexhill.

Frances appears as Dearing's wife in the censuses of 1841 at Holyer's Hill in Bexhill[1], as a cordwainer's wife visiting friends in Battle in 1851[2] and at home at Holliershill again in 1861[3].
Frances death on 16 Mar 1870, received an obituary in the Hastings and St Leonards Observer[4] and was registered in Q1 of 1870 at Battle[5].
Dearing & Frances were buried at St Peters, Bexhill, this has been transcribed from their gravestone
